A young man named Prithvi from Chitradurga has caused alarm after setting fire to a Tehsildar’s jeep in Chalakere and making claims about becoming a terrorist. Prithvi’s actions have attracted significant attention in the Chitradurga district.
Prithvi first gained notoriety when he set a bicycle ablaze in front of the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, claiming it was a protest against police misconduct. He was detained by the police, questioned, and later released. His frustration escalated further when he set fire to the Tehsildar’s jeep near the Challakere Taluk office. Prithvi’s anger allegedly stems from police harassment of his mother, who had reported him missing and filed a complaint against the Challakere police.
In a disturbing video message, Prithvi announced his intention to become a terrorist and demanded to be imprisoned next to actor Darshan, who is currently jailed in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case. Prithvi’s actions continued with another arson attempt in front of the Vidhana Soudha. After setting the Tehsildar’s jeep on fire in Chalakere, residents intervened and handed him over to the police.
The Chalakere police are investigating the situation and Prithvi’s troubling declarations.
