Karwar: MLA Rupali Naik said that a record number of houses have been sanctioned to every Gram Panchayat in Karwar – Ankola Assembly Constituency.
“The project will benefit those who were facing the problem of roof over their head. All sections of the society will get the benefit of this scheme. Under Basava Housing Scheme and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Niwas Yojana (Rural), a total of 2500 houses have been sanctioned for the year 2022 – 23. A total of 1897 houses have been sanctioned under Basava Housing Scheme including 1647 houses for General Category and 250 for minorities, while 429 houses for Scheduled Castes and 174 for Scheduled Tribes have been sanctioned under Dr. B.bR. Ambedkar Housing Scheme (Rural),” she said.
“2500 houses have been sanctioned to the Constituency from both these projects. An order in this regard has been issued by the Managing Director of Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation. Earlier, 5 to 10 houses were sanctioned to each Gram Panchayat. But this time more houses have been sanctioned. This is a boon for the construction of a house. Amadalli 67, Todur 47, Chendiya 90, Shirawada 112, Kadavada 72, Kinnar 35, Vylavada 30, Devalamakki 55, Keravadi 23, Mallapura 100, Kadra 106, Gotegali 47, Hanakona 57, Ghadasai 63, Asnoti 24, Mudageri 53, Majali 51, Chittakula 133, and Sunkasala 77 houses have been sanctioned. A total of 2,500 houses have been sanctioned, including 83 in Shetageri, 67 in Vandige, 48 in Bobruwada, 45 in Belambara, 56 in Honnebaila, 56 in Harawada, 60 in Avarsa, 55 in Hattikeri, 53 in Belekeri, 75 in Bhavikeri and 70 in Alageri.
