Bantwal: Former excise minister H Y Meti’s sex tape incident is related to his personal life and the state Congress government has nothing to do with it, opined Congress Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao.
Reacting on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comments that the sex tape incident had caused personal anguish , Dinesh Gundu Rao said, “The entire incident is confined to Meti’s personal life and hence the state government has nothing to do with it “.

Responding to reporters’ questions at the residence of State Forest Minister B Ramanath Rai, Dinesh Gundu Rao talked of party’s plans to continue in power after the next Assembly elections. He said the party is organising multiple conventions to propagate government’s various pro-people schemes.

He accused the opposition BJP for making wild allegations against the government without substance, being unable to withstand with the progress made by the party in power.

At the same time, he rued over the fact that the party’s propaganda has not helped it reap substantial benefits.
