Mangaluru: The Kannada Balaga and University College here had jointly organised the release of ‘Namma Nimmolage’ book at Ravindra Kalabhavana of the institute here on Saturday, July 20.
After releasing the book, a collection of thoughts authored by writer and Mangalore Akashavani Director Dr. Vasanth Kumar Perla, Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor Prof. P S Yadapadithaya opined that a third shape can be generated only with the communication of two. ‘Namma Nimmolage’ is like a reflection of the happenings of the present scenario, he added.
Introducing the work, Dr. P Dayananda Pai, P Sathish Pai Government First Grade College Assistant Professor Dr. Nagaveni Manchi said that the book is a package which depicts the care towards kids, thoughts of the youth, the daily life of family men and the life at old age. Author Dr. Vasanth Kumar Perla defined his work as a reflection of loneliness and worldliness.
University College Principal Dr. Udaya Kumar M A was the chief guest. Kannada Department Head Dr. Rathnavati T welcomed the guests while Kannada Balaga Mangalore President M R Vasudeva proposed a vote of thanks. Yashukumar of Kannada department was the master of the ceremony.
