Delay in completion of Thokkottu flyover: DYFI stages mock inaugural

Mangaluru: Close on the heels of delay in the completion of flyover work at Thokkottu, Ullal unit of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) organised a mock drill of inaugurating flyover at Thokkottu on Sunday, December 30.

During their mock drill, the flyover was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel!. In order to represent Modi, Gadkari and Nalin, three men wore the mask of the leaders.

Meanwhile, the leaders of DYFI shouted slogan against Modi, Gadkari and Nalin Kumar Kateel claiming that all the promises of the BJP government have proved out to be fake and it has failed to execute any development works during its five years of tenure. Addressing the protesters DYFI district secretary Santhosh Kumar Kateel said, “Modi’s acche din has not come even after four and half years of his administration. The flyover work at Thokkottu and Pumpwell reflects the working style of union government. MP Nalin Kumar did nothing except provocative speeches”, he said and urged MP Nalin to take all appropriate measures to speed up the work.
