Moodbidri: Mamatha, after having qualified in the selection trials held at Lucknow, will now represent India in 38 kg class of World Wrestling Competition at Athens, Greece.
In the trails, held at Sai Centre in Lucknow, she beat Ranjana from host state Uttar Pradesh 10-0 in a span of just 90 seconds.
The world wrestling competition at Athens in Greece is scheduled between September 1-6.
Mohan Alva, Founder President of Alva’s congratulated the young wrestler on her selection.
