Mangaluru: A fire broke out at a candle factory in the premises of Attur St. Lawrence Basillica Church.
The incident took place around the afternoon of Wednesday March 22. The fire broke out at a candle manufacturing centre near Attur Church in Nitte Gram Panchayat and the fire brigade rushed to the spot as soon as they received information and two fire tenders were pressed into service for nearly three hours.
Station House Officer Albert Monis, Staff Uday Kumar Hegde, Achchuth Karkera, Jaya Moolya, Mohammed Rafiq, Keshav, Sujay, Umesh, Basavaraj, Ravichandra, Vinayak, Sanjay and Muzamil participated in the operation.
