Mangaluru: MLA Rajesh Naik said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party will win in the Assembly elections and be able to do everything for the people in the coming term as well.”

He was speaking after inaugurating a workshop of Page Pramukhs of BJP Bantwal Mandal held at Sparsh Kala Mandir in BC Road. “In Bantwal Assembly Constituency, development projects worth Rs. 2,000 Crore have been made in the last four-and-a-half years and everything is transparent,” he said, adding that 1,504 roads have been constructed at the rate of one in a day. After Covid, all the hospitals in Bantwal have been equipped and for the first time an ICU unit has been constructed in Bantwal, he noted.

“Education and healthcare is the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a lot of programmes have been launched. A total of more than Rs. 48 Crore has gone into the accounts of farmers under various schemes in the constituency.

The meeting was organised to inform page heads about their responsibility in the run-up to the elections.

“If we think about our booth and make the voters vote in favour of the BJP, the BJP is guaranteed to win,” he said.

Devappa Poojary presided over the function.

Former MLA Padmanabha Kottari, Bantwal Assembly Constituency Election Commissioner Ravichandra Mijar, Divisional Organising Secretary Prasad Kumar, State Sewerage and Drinking Water Supply Corporation Director Sulochana G.K. Bhat and others were present.
