Mangaluru: In a tragic incident a man died after accidentally slipping and falling into a stream.
The body of Ramesh Sapaliga (68), a resident of Durgaparameshwari Temple in Mundkur Village, who was a hotelier in Mumbai, was found in the Shambhavi River in Mundkur. On; Wednesday March 29, at 9.00 pm, he who had gone home to drink alcohol did not return home. The body was found in Shambhavi River near Nagabana behind Durgaparameshwari Temple in Mundkur on Saturday April 1. It is suspected that he accidentally fell into the river and died while coming after consuming alcohol.
A case has been registered at Karkala Rural Police Station on the basis of a complaint lodged by Yogesh Sapaliga, son of Ramesh Sapaliga.
