Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a young man, who had climbed a tree to remove honey, fell from a tree and died in Sampaje.
The deceased youth has been identified as Vijay, a native of Karike. Vijay, who had come to Sampaje to remove honey from the Karike, was seriously injured when he fell down while he was removing honey.
Those who were with him immediately tried to take him to the hospital, but he was declared dead by then.
The body has been shifted to Sullia Government Hospital.
