Mangaluru: NATCON 2024 was launched by the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) on April 20, Saturday at 7 pm at Hotel A J Grand. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries and industry leaders who marked the beginning of the prestigious conference NATCON 2024.

Chairman NATCON 2024 T V Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Aarin Capital Partners, inaugurated the website of NATCON 2024 during the ceremony.

Dr M H Raja, National President of the NIPM, unveiled the Sponsorship Brochure.

The Program Brochure/Poster was launched by Richard Lobo, CPO at Tech Mahindra and Advisor to the NATCON 24 Program Committee along with P R Basavaraju, NIPM National General Secretary.

In his address, Mohandas Pai highlighted India’s journey towards economic prosperity and emphasized the critical importance of a skilled workforce in directing the evolving job market successfully.

He underscored the need for continuous upskilling and leveraging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and machine learning to drive productivity and innovation in the workforce.

Mohandas Pai emphasized that human capital drives a nation’s development. He noted India’s abundant young population in schools and colleges. Pai projected a promising future where education shapes a skilled workforce.

Furthermore, Mohandas Pai outlined a vision for India’s economic progress by 2047, emphasizing the need for a robust higher education system that prepares graduates for the digital revolution age.

Pai stressed the importance of research and development driving the educational system, creating a highly skilled workforce capable of global competitiveness, and generating high-paying jobs to fulfil the aspirations of the youth.

Dr M.H. Raja, the esteemed National President of NIPM, delivered a appealing speech at NATCON 2024, illuminating the strategic significance of selecting Mangalore as the host city for this prestigious event.

Dr Raja highlighted on the deliberate and conscious decision to entrust the organization of NATCON 2024 to the capable hands of the NIPM Mangalore Chapter.

Dr Raja emphasized the conference’s Asia-specific focus. He highlighted esteemed speakers from across Asia enriching the event with diverse perspectives. This aligns with NIPM’s goal of fostering cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The National General Secretary of NIPM P R Basavaraju’s in his address summarised the spirit of dedication, unity, and excellence embodied by the NIPM Mangalore Chapter.

Ph.D. Awardee Dr Asha Albuquerque Pai and newly enrolled life members of NIPM were honored by National NIPM President Dr M H Raja and other dignitaries.

The leadership team of the Mangalore Chapter for NATCON 24, P P Shetty, Chairman Organizing Committee, Steevan Pinto, Chairman NIPM Mangaluru Chapter and Convener of NATCON 2024, Dr Laxmish Rai, Secretary NIPM Mangaluru Chapter, Dheeraj Shetty Immediate Past Chairman; Dr Asha Albuqurque Pai, Secretary NATCON 2024 and past chairpersons of NIPM Mangalore Chapter Shekhar Pujari, Dr Devaraj, P. Suresh and Dr Sebastin K V were present.

Steevan Pinto, Chairman NIPM welcomed the gathering and remembered the contributions of Krishna Hegde M, GGM – HR at MRPL and the co-chairman NATCON 24.

Dr Asha Albuqurque Pai proposed the Vote of Thanks.
