Mangaluru: The Ward Day of St Anna Ward of St Teresa Of Kolkata Church, Paldane, was celebrated with great pomp at the Monteiro Grounds in the ward.
Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza, Parish Priest presided over the event and commended the talents within the ward.
Parish Council Vice President Elias Fernandes elucidated the significance of the Ward Day celebration. Bhaskar K., Corporator, graced the occasion as the guest of honor and conveyed his best wishes.
Jocelyn Lobo, Coordinator of the 21 Commission of the Church was present. Austin Monteiro, Parish Council Secretary and the head of the ward, extended a warm welcome to all.
Ward representative Patsy Monteiro presented the report, while Alwyn Monteiro, representative, delivered the vote of thanks.
Irene D’Mello and Elias Monteiro, former ward chiefs, were honored on behalf of the ward for their service.
