Mangaluru : The parents’ delegation from St. Gerosa School children has submitted a memorandum to the city’s police commissioner, urging a reevaluation of the case filed against the MLAs and instead advocating for a case to be registered against the implicated teacher regarding the recent incident at St. Gerosa School.
The delegation has raised concerns over Sr. Prabha allegedly making derogatory remarks about Hindu deities and the Prime Minister within the classroom.
FIRs re registered against MLA Vedavyas Kamath and two corporators who responded to our requests by visiting the school. MLA Y Bharath Shetty and Sharan Pumpwell of Bajrang Dal were not present during the protests at the school. Therefore, we request that the case against them be retracted,” emphasized the delegation in their appeal.
