Mangaluru: In another incident of moral policing and infringement of fundamental rights, activists allegedly belonging to the Hindu Jagarana Vedike, manhandled a youth belonging to another community for being in the company of a girl not belonging to his community near the DC’s office here on December 13.
The girl fled the scene as soon as she saw the activists nearing them. Sources said that the youth, who was cornered, was later handed over to the police.
The activists also forced the youth to pledge on camera, that he would never again go near a girl belonging to another community. The video and photos of the same, have gone viral.
