Mangaluru: Renowned Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam will be in Mangaluru city soon to perform at a charity event according to reports. He is visiting the city twenty years after his previous performance at a public concert.
The organiser of the event said that they approached Sonu because of his popularity. “He (Sonu) graciously agreed to perform at the event,” organiser Rohan Pereira said.
Sonu last performed at a college in the city a few years ago. “Even though there are many singers in Bollywood, Sonu’s popularity spreads across all categories of listeners. He has not had a major concert in the city in 20 years and the level of excitement among his fans has never been this high,” Pereira added.
