Mangaluru: Following his appointment as the state president, B. Y. Vijayendra visited Mangaluru for the first time today, receiving a grand welcome.
During a press conference at the district BJP office, he addressed discussions about not being appointed as the state president. There were also ongoing discussions about internal disagreements and differences. Additionally, the Congress party leaders criticized us, he mentioned.
Expressing gratitude for the significant responsibility bestowed upon him as the state president, he stated that he will carry out his duties with the same dedication as the previous successful president, Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Reflecting on the impressive execution of the G-20 Summit, he noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been tirelessly working for the country without taking any breaks.
He highlighted the BJP’s clear victory and assumption of power with confidence in the previous Legislative Assembly elections. The government that lost its popularity throughout the country was the Congress government – anti-farmer, anti-poor, and anti-dalit. People who voted for Congress are now regretting their decision. The current situation is challenging, and the government needs to be efficient in its functioning, he emphasized. The Congress government’s administration has been a complete failure, he added.
