Kasargod: A devotee on his way to Sabarimala in Kerala was knocked to death by a moving train while attempting to answer nature’s call at Manjeshwar’s Hosabettu.
Annappa Shivappa Gowda (28), an auto driver by profession and a resident of Haladipura in Honnavar is the deceased person.
He was travelling with 14 others in a tourist vehicle to Sabarimala. The accident took place when he tried to cross over the track in an attempt to answer nature’s call.
The body was handed over to relatives after conducting autopsy at Mangalpady Community Healthcare Centre.
Manjeshwar Police have registered a case.
