Mangaluru : A viral photo circulating on social media implicates Sister Prabha, a teacher at St. Jerosa’s School in Mangaluru, as the alleged creator of an audio clip purportedly insulting Lord Ram. The situation escalated when Kavitha, a resident of Garodi in Mangaluru, and her family were targeted online, with their photo and contact information shared alongside accusations of spreading the audio clip.

Following the uproar, Kavitha reported receiving incessant threatening calls from abroad, prompting her to file a complaint with the Kankanady Nagar police station. Kavitha denied involvement in creating or disseminating the audio and provided evidence of the harassment she and her family endured, including lewd messages sent via WhatsApp. Of particular concern is the involvement of Kavitha’s daughter, Jerosa, a seventh-grader at the school, who participated in protests against Sister Prabha. The situation has intensified with the circulation of an audio clip targeting Jerosa, further exacerbating tensions.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are working to address the threats and harassment faced by Kavitha and her family, while also delving into the origins of the controversial audio clips.
