Udupi: Boatmen are always known for braving the storms at sea and here is a recent case proving that at the Kodi Bengre beach in Udupi. The incident was said to have happened on Saturday, where five youngsters were on a picnic. 

The gang included two boys and three girls, who coming all the way from Bangalore, decided to venture a little further into the water. 

The youngsters would have later regretted their decision when the found themselves within the grip of high waves that suddenly came from the sea. 

However, thanks to Vivek Puthran, Ramesh Bhangera and Krishna who came out as heroes who saved the youngsters that day. The three water sports personnel were prompt and lost no time in coming forward to help.
