Mangaluru: A youth who sustained serious injuries in a car mishap died on Monday, March 7 at a private hospital.
Shareef(36) from Hidayathnagar in Uppala is the deceased.
The incident occured on February 25 night near Kunjattur in Manjeshwar. Sharif was heading towards Uppala from Mangaluru. When he reached Kunjattur, he lost control and plowed his car into a shop. Immediately the locals rushed to the spot and rescued sharif who was trapped inside the car and was taken to hospital.
However, sharif failed to respond to the medical treatment and died on Monday.
Manjeshwar police have registered a case in this regard.
