Udupi: According to sources, District In-Charge Minister S. Angara denied on February 8 that the Hijab controversy emerged as a result of administrative failures.
“District Administration did not cause the Hijab controversy,” he said.
He further said that the BJP does not need political mileage from the controversy.
The Minister also informed that the government followed Court guidelines and having a different dress code for each community was impossible.
