Hijab protest: Two held for possessing lethal weapons in Udupi

Udupi: Kundapura police have arrested two people who had arrived with lethal weapons outside Government PU College in Kundapura, where students were protesting on Friday February 4.

According to sources, a team led by PSI Sadashiva Gavaroji was successful in arresting two people after receiving information that five people with fatal weapons had arrived at the spot.

Abdul Majeed (32) and Rajab (31) have been arrested (41). Both are Gangolli natives. The police are on the lookout for Khaleel, Rizwan and Ifthikar. A case has been registered at the Kundapura Police Station.
