Udupi: Kamblakatte Shrishailesha Upadhyaya, the successor of the Palimaru Matt was given the ‘Sanyasadeeksha’ in the Brahma muhurta at 5.57 am by Shri Vidyadheeshatheerthashripada in Sarvanja Peeta of Shri Krishna Matt in the presence of Shri Vishwaprasannatheerthashripada, junior Matadheesha of the Pejavara Matt.
Prior to the ‘sanyasadeekasha,‘ many homa and havana’s were done lead by Vidhvams Gundibailu Subramanya Bhat.
Vidhvamsa Korlalli Venkatesh Acharya, Rajagopala Acharya, Vasudeva Upadhyaya, Girisha Upadhyaya and parents of Sahialesh Upadhyaya witnessed the ceremony.
