Udupi: A man allegedly resorted to suicide by hanging himself after he was not given money for drinking.
Chandamma Shetty Salwadi’s son was working in a hotel in Goa along with Vittala (48). Since he was an orphan, they had dropped him off at home to take care of Chandamma Shetty.
Having been here for 5 years, Vittala was recently addicted to drinking.
A case has been registered against him for allegedly committing suicide by hanging himself in a shed near his house for not being paid for drinking alcohol.
