Udupi: A youth was killed when a Tempo Traveller carrying students on a tour met with an accident while traversing difficult ghat roads.
The deceased has been identified as Hemant (24) from Dharawad. The accident occurred on Kudremukha-Mala Highway on the evening of Sunday May 8.
The students were on their Udupi on a tour when the accident took place. The others who were injured are being treated at the Karkala Government Hospital.
