Udupi: Thieves loot gold, cash at Korangrapady

Udupi: Thieves broke into a house and looted thousands of rupees cash and gold ornaments.

The burglary took place at the house of Prasad Poojary, who is staying in Ashwin Pereira’s rented house at Bobbanapade Shetty compound in Korangrapady here.

The burglars broke the back door of the house and decamped with a gold necklace weighing 10 grams and Rs. 18,000 from the Godrej locker inside the house. The total value of the stolen assets stands at Rs. 63,000.

A case has been registered at the City Police Station in this regard.
