Udupi: Upadyaya Moodubelle Kala Pratistana will be organising the sixth state level felicitations for the achievers on Sunday, January 29 at Udupi Rathabidi Raghavendra Sabha Bhavan from 9.15 am to 11.30 am.
Speaking with media persons at Udupi Press Club on Friday, Radhakrishna Upadyaya Moodubelle, President of the Pratistana said that the said the organisation was established in 1999 with the objective of honouring the achievers in the society and conducting various other programmes.
The felicitations will be held for various top achievers in the society including Valentine D’Souza, ACP; R L Dias, President of Railway Passengers’ Association, Udupi; Vishu Shetty Ambalpady and Dr. U P Upadyaya, Nadoja K P Rao, Kuntaru Ravish Tanri, Social worker Aboobaker Perkala, Devdas Kapikad, Basti Sadashiva Shoney, Kiran Manjanbail, student Loren Pinto and others.
In the presence of Paryaya Pejawar Vishweshatheertha Swamiji and Kaniyoor Matt’s Sri Vidyavallabhatheertha Swamiji will inaugurate the programme and Dharmadharsi Harikrishna Punaroor will preside over the programme. Karnataka Lalithakala Academy President Dr. M S Murthy and Pradeep Kumar Kalkura will be the chief guests. Divakar Shetty, Joint Director of Public Education Department, Amruth Shenoy, M Manjunath Upadyaya, Ranjan Kalkura, Devdas Hebbar and others will be present.
