Karwar: ‘Complete work within stipulated time’

Karwar: Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Priyanga M told the various departmental officers that the current line of programmes undertaken through CMGSY, Linked Document and 15th financial grants should be completed within the stipulated time and the report be submitted to the office.

Addressing the General Meeting held at Zilla Panchayat Sabha in the city, Administrative Officer of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department P. Hemalatha was briefed about the progress of the works carried out under various departments under Zilla Panchayat in Uttara Kannada District so far through video interaction. She informed about the works undertaken by the various departments of the Zilla Panchayat, the progress achieved in the Aquaculture Mission, Solid Fresh Unit, and Sanitation Programmes. She also gave a report on the work carried out in relation to tourism, a report on funds spent and allocated for the development of the disabled, a progress report including 18 Panchayats, an action plan and implementation to provide basic privileges for schools, anganwadis and communities.

In the meeting, the action plan of Rs. 3,77,71,584 released to Zilla Panchayat under the 15th financial grant for the year 2022-23, Construction change amounting to Rs.61.29 lakh under the 15th financial grant for the year 2021-22, construction change amounting to Rs.16 lakh for the year 2020-21 And about the Rs. 190.05 lakh’s unrestricted construction change, the Administrative Officer of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department P. Hemalatha Approved.

After reviewing the progress of the works of various departments, the head of the concerned department was told to submit a proposal if there is any demand for salary of external employees, additional grant.

Karwar Zilla Panchayat Officer Vinod Anvekar, District Health Officer Sarada Naika, Women and Child Development Department Officer Shyamala C. K. and officers and staff of various departments were present.
