Hubballi: People celebrate colourful festival of Holi

Hubballi: People in the City were immersed in the game of colours on Sunday March 12. Everyone, irrespective of caste, celebrated Holi by painting each other with colours.

For people, Holi is a festival of joy. They play ‘Ranginata’ by dancing all over the City. The festival of Holi is celebrated by throwing colours. There is no discrimination in the celebration of Hubballi Holi. On the occasion of Ranga Panchami in the Commercial City, people thronged the City.

More than 3,000 Police personnel were stationed in different parts of the City to ensure that they played the game of colours peacefully.

People leave the barrier of any caste or creed and take a dip in the colour. The Police have also supported the public. The public was afraid of the Police. But today, they forgot about that fear and celebrated with the Police.
