Hubballi: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President and Former Minister Satish Jarkiholi on Sunday February 6 said people would have to wait a year to find out who would join the party.
Speaking to mediapersons here he said, “This is not the right time to reveal the names of BJP leaders who would join the Congress. Many people, including the President of the KPCC, have claimed that BJP leaders will join our party, but their identities cannot be revealed at this time.”
Meanwhile, the Former Minister has urged the government to put an end to the hijab controversy that has erupted in several districts across the State. “In schools and colleges, the hijab is not required. This does not have to be an issue, and the government should take steps to resolve it as soon as possible,” Satish added.
