Hubballi: On Friday December 10, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that issues relating to North Karnataka development, such as irrigation projects, will most likely be discussed during the State Legislature’s Winter Session, which will be held in Belagavi.
“The session has been organised to discuss issues of development and people’s problems. The Mahadayi issue has already been discussed in the session, and necessary legal measures are being taken,” he said.
More than Rs. 600 crore has already been given as compensation for crop losses caused by heavy rains in November. “It is the first time that crop loss compensation is being distributed so fast. “compensation is given daily, as soon as the details of the joint survey are submitted on the Parihar app,” said CM Bommai.
