Ballari: In a tragic incident, two children of a family slipped and fell into a ditch in Guttiganur Village here on afternoon of Thursday February 2.
The deceased were children of Mallikarjuna, and Lakshmi of Guttiganur village. The children were studying in other village and had come to the village on Tuesday January 31 as there was an Ambadevi Jatra Mahotsava. On the afternoon of Thursday, two children slipped and fell into the water when they were on their way to the banks of a village pond for an open defecation.
A relative named Suresh, who was with them informed the villagers and the locals who rushed to the spot immediately brought Harshavardhana’s body out of the water and later searched for Manikanta but could not find his body.
