Bidar: BJP and Congress parties have not worked in favour of farmers labourers and poor people of the country, said Former Minister JD (S) Legislature Party Deputy Leader, JD (S) Core Committee President Constituency MLA, JD (S) candidate Bandappa Kashempur. He blasted against the two national parties by saying that whenever our party was in power we have continuously worked for the poor farmers and labourers of the country.
He said that the Congress has been in power for five years in the past while conducting election campaign in various villages including Honnikeri, Chondi, Chawli, Ativala, and Kapalapura of Bidar South Assembly constituency. BJP has been in power for four years but they have not done any significant work, he said.
“As soon as we came to power, the wage laborers were given Rs. 2000 every month. We gave Rs. 10,000 per acre per month for agricultural work expenses for farmers. We continuously provide electricity to farmers’ pump sets. We will work to increase the subsidy for various schemes including old age and widow’s stipend up to Rs. 5000. Many more important projects are going to be implemented, he said.
All parties make promises to people during elections. There are very few permanent workers in our field. There are too many people who run away. The people of the constituency should not migrate, he said.
