Bidar: There is a wave in favour of the Congress everywhere in Bidar Assembly Constituency, said Rahim Khan, the Congress candidate from Bidar Assembly Constituency. He said that he was sure of his victory.
He was speaking at a meeting of leaders of the Gonda (Kuruba) Community held at a private hotel in the City.
“In urban and rural areas, people are welcoming wherever they go for campaigning. This is an example of people’s fondness for the Congress party,” he said.
People are fed up with the BJP due to rampant corruption and misgovernance in various works including contracts and transfers, he said and recalled that the previous Siddaramaiah-led Congress Government had protected the interests of all communities through various schemes.
As an MLA, I would like to say that Bidar Constituency has developed in key areas including education, health, drinking water, transport connectivity, and infrastructure development, he said.
“I have undertaken several development works. I plan to undertake many more important tasks, he asserted.
He appealed to the voters to support the Congress in the interest of the State, Bidar District and Bidar Constituency.
