Bus fire prompts Karnataka-Maharashtra service suspension

Bidar: A KSRTC bus was set ablaze in Maharashtra’s Osmanabad district near Umaraga taluka due to the Maratha reservation issue.

All 48 passengers who were on the bus are unharmed. The bus, traveling from Bhalki in Bidar district to Pune in Maharashtra, has led to the suspension of bus services to Maharashtra following the incident.

KSRTC’s Executive Director, Mr. R. Rachappa, has informed that bus services between Karnataka and Maharashtra have been temporarily suspended since last night.
