Kalaburagi: Afzalpur MLA M. Y. Patil has advised children to develop a competitive spirit and achieve their goals.
Speaking after inaugurating the children’s festival organised by Kalaburagi University’s Bayalu Rangamandira on the occasion of Kalyana Karnataka Festival on Saturday February 25, he said, “It is not just a festival, it is a big festival of our region,” he said and added that after India’s independence and liberation from Nizam and Shahis, Independence Day has been transformed and celebrated as Kalyana Karnataka Utsav.
“Everyone in this region should participate with interest,” he asserted.
