Vijayanagara: Tourism Minister Anand Singh has said that the MLAs and MPs have made him a ‘utsava murthy’ on the issue of Panchamasali Samaja 2A reservation.
Speaking at Veerarani Kittur Channamma’s 199th victory celebrations and Panchamasali 2A Reservation Janajagruti Sammelana, he said, “Minister Anand Singh has become a festival idol and also saying that he will be in the forefront for 2 reservations. However, it doesn’t matter, I will work as a link between the Government and the society for reservation,” he said.
On this occasion, MLAs P. T. Parameshwara Naik, Bheema Naik, MPs Karadi Sanganna, Y. Devendrappa and other dignitaries who participated in the convention said that there is nothing impossible for Anand Singh, who created Vijayanagar District. Therefore, if the responsibility of reservation is handed over to Anand Singh, the demand for reservation will be easily fulfilled,” they averred.
To this, Anand Singh said that everyone has made me a festival idol (Utsava Murthy).
