Yadagiri: Two persons were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a lorry and a car near Karibetta Cross on the outskirts of Saidapur Town on the Bidar-Gutti National Highway 150.
The accident took place around 7.00 am on Friday when a car coming from Adhoni in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh towards Kalaburagi and a lorry coming from Yadagiri side to Raichur collided.
The deceased have been identified as Dyaneshwar Singade (36), a native of Adhoni, and driver Saifullah Lalmatti (27). The truck driver is absconding.
