Chikkamagaluru: The Villagers of Byaralagadde in Sunkasale Gram Panchayat limits have decided to boycott the elections in protest against the road mess and the non-construction of the bridge.

The road from Bilagali to Byaralagadde in Aramane Talagur Village under Sunkasale Gram Panchayat limits is in complete shambles. Despite repeated requests for the construction of a bridge on this route, people’s representatives and officials are not taking any action. As a result, the villagers of Byaralagadde have decided to boycott the polls, the villagers said.

A banner of boycott of elections has been put up in the village and it is written that the villagers of Byaralagadde are boycotting the upcoming elections. Despite several requests for the construction of a road and bridge from Bilagali to Byaralagadde in Aramane Talagur village under Sunkasale Gram Panchayat limits of Mudigere Taluk, it has not been fulfilled.
