Chikkamagaluru: Kadur Police has arrested a thief who was stealing a bike overnight.
The accused has been identified as Mohan of Shettihalli in Kadur Taluk of the District.
The police, who were investigating the bike theft under Kadur Police Station limits, have succeeded in arresting the accused Mohan. Over 11 bikes worth Rs. 4 lakh were seized from the accused. Acting on a tip-off, the accused was taken into custody and during interrogation, 11 cases were unearthed in different districts including Bengaluru and Tumakuru.
Investigations have also revealed that he used to steal the bike and sell it at a lower price.
