Hassan: Devotees have been having darshan of Sri Hasanamba for the past 12 days in the midst of chaos.
Those who can’t go in the line of dharmadarshan or can get a VIP pass, have purchased Rs. 1000 and Rs. 300 tickets for direct darshan of the goddess. Crores of rupees were collected in 10 days for the temple from the purchase of tickets. There has been an excess of income.
From October 14 to 23, Rs 1,49,29,200 was collected from the sale of direct darshan tickets and laddu prasadam. In the next two days, Rs 40-50 lakh collection is expected.
Last year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the public was not allowed to have darshan of the deity. Only officials and dignitaries were allowed to have darshan. However, last year, the temple had received Rs. 1.54 Crore was income.
