Shivamogga: Rowdy-sheeter Cobra Suhail attempted suicide by consuming poison after being served a showcause notice for deportation.
A week ago, Theerthahalli Police had issued a showcause notice to rowdy-sheeter Cobra Suhail asking him why he should not cross border for two years. He attempted suicide two days after receiving the police notice and is now admitted to Yenepoya Hospital in Mangaluru.
Cases on Cobra alias Suhail from Indira Nagara and a resident of Sibinakere Abdul Khader Saab Park, has been filed at Theerthahalli Police Station and Malur Police Station.
Shivamogga sub-divisional officers have issued a showcause notice to order a two-year deportation on the recommendation of the Police Department. Suhail attempted suicide without replying to the notice.
He was admitted to Theerthahalli Government JC Hospital in a critical condition after consuming poison, and then was shifted to McGGAN Teaching District Hospital in Shivamogga. Now he is getting treatment at Yenepoya Hospital in Mangaluru since three days. His condition is said to be critical.
