Chamarajanagara: State Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman Kote M. Shivanna, who is also In-Charge of Chamarajanagara Assembly Constituency, expressed confidence that party candidate V. Somanna will win by a large margin.
Addressing a press conference in the City, he said that BJP candidates will be leading in all the four constituencies in the District. The BJP has gained more strength in the two districts as Somanna has been announced as the candidate from Varuna and Chamarajanagara Constituency.
“As soon as V. Somanna’s victory was confirmed, supporters of Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who were frustrated, disrupted the campaign and assaulted him. This is a murder of democracy,” he said.
