Chamarajanagara: If the people elect me in this election, I will make Chamarajanagara a historic city and will constantly engage in development. Vatal Nagaraj, the candidate of Kannada Andolana Vatal Paksha, said that if not elected, this will be the last election in Chamarajanagara and the relationship with Chamarajanagara will also come to an end.
Campaigning at various places including the KSRTC bus stand and seeking votes, he said, “I have served Chamarajanagara for six decades. It is up to you to have the power to save me and expressed hope that you will save me and requested them to elect him for the development of Chamarajanagara, he said.
“I have brought Cauvery water to Chamarajanagara and facilitated the people of the city. I have made Chamarajanagara Taluk the District headquarters. Politics is corrupt. “I am a great model and today I would be happy if someone honestly tells that there is no one other than Vatal Nagaraj right for the legislature,” he said.
For the development of Chamarajanagara, Cauvery Phase-II should be brought and Chandakavadi and Badanaguppe Villages should be made suburbs. Chamarajanagara has not been given a single paisa for the last 15 years. The Chief Minister has ignored Chamarajanagara by not coming to the City. This is an insult to Chamarajanagara. We have to think about the development of the City. Vatal has to win for this. I don’t have money, I don’t have caste. I have the love and affection of the people, he said.
The people of Chamarajanagara, as well as the voters, cannot be traded, he said. He urged the Election Commission to appoint observers for every hobli centre and take steps to ensure that money is not distributed.
