Mysuru: The Hebbal police cracked techie’s abduction case and nabbed the accused, who happened to be the lover of the victim, in a rather filmy styled pursuit.
Nethravathi, a Tamil Nadu native was working in Infosys in Mysuru over the last one year.
It is said that the girl was in love with her college mate named Naveen and the two had decided to get married to each other. But, things went wrong when Naveen was named as an accused in a murder case and Nethravathi decided to break ties with him.
However, Naveen, who received a bail in the murder case on Monday headed straight to Mysuru with his two friends and waited for Nethravathi near Sankranthi Circle.
When Nethravathi ventured out of her accommodation along with her friend, Naveen stopped her and again persuaded her for marriage.
On being rejected again, Naveen abducted Nethravathi. Alert friend of Nethravathi instantly informed Hebbal police, who plunged into action, traced the car on Tamil Nadu route and cracked the case in 12 hours.
The police rescued the techie and also nabbed Saravanan, Marudamalai including Naveen.
