Mysore: The City of Palaces Mysore has acquired a new hue with the celebration of Holi, the festival of colours. Youth and students exchanged Holi wishes and played with colours.
The students of Maharaja, Yuvaraja, Marimallappa and Maharani colleges celebrated Holi with gay abandon. Police protection has been given at Maharani College to avert any untoward incident.
The public were inconvenienced as the youngsters sprayed colours on the public. Markets too are flooded with colours. Those who could not celebrate the festival in daytime are readying for the revelry in the evening.
