Mysuru: Just one day after broad daylight murder of 38-year-old rowdy Krishna alias Loose Krishna at VV Mohalla, five persons surrender before VV Puram Police Station here on Saturday. It is learnt that old rivalry led to the cold-blooded murder.

The persons who surrendered are Hemanth, Darshan, Sandesh, Dharma and Murthy. Out of the accused, Hemanth is a rowdy-sheeter with several cases standing registered against him in various police stations. Sandesh is one of the accused in a particular Kariyappa murder case. Meanwhile, Dharma had been a close aide of rowdy-sheeter Devu, who was hacked to death few months ago at Paduvarahalli. On Friday, when the gang approached to kill Krishna, the car was driven to the spot by Darshan. However Murthy from Siddramanahundi has no cases registered against him so far.

It can be brought to light that on Friday, Krishna was waylaid and attacked and was seriously injured by unidentified persons. Few minutes after treatment at private hospital, Krishna succumbed to injuries and the police had suspected that it was an act of revenge. Krishna had criminal credentials, but after a while, he had started poultry business in Paduvarahalli. However, after rowdy-sheeter Devu was killed, Krishna was trying to get into his shoes.
