Mandya: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Former President Rahul Gandhi who resumed his fourth day of Bharat Jodo Yatra from Mysuru City reached Mandya District on Monday October 3.
Rahul entered the District through Naguvanahalli Gate in Srirangapattana Taluk, where he was accorded a warm welcome by traditional troupes. Former Minister N. Cheluvaraya Swamy also the former MLA of Nagamangala in Mandya District, led the party workers in welcoming Rahul Gandhi.
Earlier Rahul who resumed his Yatra from Hardinge Circle in Mysuru City, had his breakfast at Kasturinivasa Hotel on Mysuru – Bengaluru Highway. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar, Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah, Former Ministers and Congress MLAs Krishna Byregowda, Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Priyank Kharge, Dr. Ajay Singh, Rizwan Arshad, Former MLAs Vasu and M. K. Somashekar, Former Chamarajanagara MP R. Dhruvanarayan, and other leaders are accompanying Rahul in the Yatra.
