Mandya: “It was wrong for Adichunchanagiri Seer to admonish the BJP leaders. I am saying this while standing in the Srimatha. There is no need to advise BJP leaders,” said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “The BJP is trying to defame the Vokkaliga Community. There is no question of Vokkaligas withdrawing. It is a question of self-respect of our society. Urigowda and Nanjegowda is a fabricated story to hide the corruption of the Government,” he said.

“None of us are cowards. BJP National General Secretery C. T. Ravi, Revenue Minister R. Ashok and Higher Education Minister Ashwath Narayan are writing a new story of Urigowda and Nanjegowda. BJP wanted to make a movie on Urigowda and Nanjegowda. I condemn this work of the BJP. Instead make a film on corruption,” he said.
