Mysuru: Indian playback singer, filmfare awardee and youth icon Shalmali Kholgade left the audiences wanting for more as she enthralled the Mysureans on October 5 to mark the occasion of Youth Dasara.
The Bollywood singing sensation started off with one of the hit number Pareshan, from the movie Ishaaqzaade through which she shot into fame to garner Filmfare award and went on to sing Bollywood hits Mein Tenu Samjhavan, Raabta and Alvida.
Then she went for a mix with trending songs like ‘bang-bang’, ‘badthameez dil’ and ended with retro numbers like Chumma Chumma de de, Pan banaraswala, yeh mera dil , bachna ae haseeno’ and many more.
The 90 minute scintillating performance moved the entire gathering where each one present was seen dancing, singing, clapping and whistling to match her steps and style. Though the program was devoted for youth, sizzling numbers created frenzy where age really didn’t matter.
